Our Story
Every startup has a soul, a reason for its being. Finapian’s story began in 2014, when a young NRI couple Mr. Balasubramaniam Andavan & Mrs. Geetha Balasubramaniam returned to Bangalore after years of working in the Middle East.
The couple saw a large gap in India’s financial landscape where investors were often completely unaware about their investments. Moreover, the investment services available were basic, impersonal and lacking in soul. Inspired by the adage “Be the change you want to see,” Mr. Balasubramaniam founded Finapian which aimed to bridge this gap and revolutionize the way Indians invested.
Finapian (fin-ae-pian): ‘Fin’ refers to finance; ‘apian’ refers to resembling or having the characteristics of bees. Think of us as your financial beekeepers. Just as bees tirelessly search for the most nectar-rich blooms, we meticulously comb through the financial landscape for the sweetest investment opportunities. Our goal is to harvest the maximum returns for your financial garden.
